Clinical Director -

Jonathan Lewis serves as the Clinical Director of 417 Recovery South River. Jon brings his experience serving as a an Administrator of an Adult Crisis Residential Treatment facility, Telehealth Therapist, Director of a Childrens Mental health Outpatient Clinic, and as a Director at a Nonprofit in North County San Diego, overseeing programs such as; Veterans Administration Safe Haven, Substance Use Disorder Residential, Substance Use Disorder Outpatient, Substance Use Disorder Withdrawal Management, Sober Living Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Bridge Housing, Veterans Administration Grants Per Diem Transitional Housing, , and Recuperative Care (Respite Care); which is today recognized as an exceptional model of a Recuperative Care within the County of San Diego. Jon has a significant career history working with the homeless and veteran population.

Jon is well educated in the correlation of housing instability with health problems and believes that providing access to stable housing can improve health and reduce health care costs. Jon has a passion for addressing the social determinants of health and working with the chronically underserved to reduce barriers and improve overall quality of life.

Jon holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Health, Education, and Welfare, and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Behavioral Health from California State University San Marcos. Jon is also a Marine Corps Combat Veteran and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

 


Our treatment team is passionate about what they do, and consists of highly skilled professionals who use effective techniques and current modalities. Our clinical team includes a psychiatrist, licensed therapists, interns and certified counselors, all of whom bring comprehensive knowledge and expertise to the treatment experience.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Issues affect the entire family and studies have shown that the best outcomes for treatment depend on the family’s understanding of and participation in the therapeutic process. The family component of treatment is a critical aspect of what we do and why our clients have such great success.
